Bac Lieu is known as the Shrimp Capital of Vietnam. In 2022, the province's total aquaculture and fishery output reached 460,900 tons, with shrimp accounting for nearly 235,000 tons.
The high-tech shrimp farm is laid out and planned on a total area of 5 ha following a 3-stage shrimp farming model. Driven by passion, the farm owner has invested in developing an integrated shrimp farming and ecotourism model aimed at boosting the local economy and creating jobs for the community.
Trusting the brand reputation of AQUA MINA, Mr. T (the farm owner) selected AQUA MINA as the turnkey contractor for manufacturing and constructing above-ground circular tanks, installing equipment, and laying HDPE liners for the pond system. Tommy's engineering team delivered complete satisfaction through their products and services.
Stage 1: Nursery stage in above-ground circular tanks with a 14m diameter, 1.2m height, and 153m² area. Nursery period ranges from 20 to 30 days.
Stage 2: Grow-out stage in above-ground circular tanks with a 25m diameter, 1.5m height, and 500m² area.
Stage 3: Final grow-out stage in HDPE-lined earthen ponds with an area of approximately 1,200m².
Additionally, the farm is equipped with a system of HDPE-lined settling, treatment, and ready-to-use water storage ponds.
The above-ground circular tanks were manufactured and directly installed at the farm by AQUA MINA's Tommy technical team. The total construction time for the circular tanks, HDPE liner installation for storage ponds, and equipment setup was nearly 2 months.
