2. Project Overview This is a high-tech shrimp farm project designed by AQUA MINA in Cebu, Philippines, focused on an intensive farming model to achieve a target output of 60 tons of commercial shrimp per year.
The entire farm is planned around a system combining 3 nursery ponds and 4 grow-out ponds, enabling precise control over each developmental stage, improving survival rates, and optimizing operational efficiency.
3. Tailored Design for Intensive Farming The project features an integrated layout encompassing culture ponds, water supply and drainage systems, aeration, internal roads, and technical infrastructure to ensure seamless coordination during operation.
Separating the nursery and grow-out phases allows for proactive post-larvae quality control, reduces disease risks, and provides flexibility in production schedules.
Tailored to supply shrimp directly to the local Philippine market, the design concept is optimized to align with harvest demands, operational workflows, and the investor’s capital outlay.
